Unique C&C Snare Drums Arrive at Memphis Drum Shop

Silver Marine Pearl, Figured Makore, Black Paua/Angel Wing Abalone Inlay, Black Fresh Water Abalone…whoa.

C&C Drum Company and Memphis Drum Shop have a long history together. Memphis Drum Shop was actually the first dealer in the world to carry C&C Drums. Constantly innovating, C&C has loyal players that have come to understand what we have always seen: true craftsmanship and attention to detail like no other.

Their vintage look and feel draw in a wide variety of players. A common denominator in what attracts players to their drums seems to be the way C&C Drums make their players feel. Isn’t that what it’s all about, anyway? Why play something that doesn’t make you feel satisfied after your gig? These drums do exactly that - they satisfy.

Above, you can see our totally unique snare drum offerings. We meticulously design the exact specifications drummers would want in their snare drums. When you see drums that have inlays or come with multiple pair of hoops - that’s not a coincidence. We think through exactly what features we, as drummers, would want out of these drums. We make those thoughts into reality, for you.

For example, let’s take the 14x6 Maple/Poplar/Maple Snare Drum in Silver Marine Pearl. It comes with two pair of hoops at no “hoop upgrade” cost. The standard triple flange hoops can be used or a beautiful pair of Maple wood hoops in Walnut Stain with matching Silver Marine Pearl inlay can be used. We include two sets of tension rods (one set has claws to fit the wood hoops). The maple wood hoops are a fantastic option when using the drum during a ballad tune involving cross sticking. The triple flange hoops offer more durability to a player who might be more inclined to play rim shots more often. So we thought, “Why not have both at no additional cost?” And that’s exactly what we did.

There are certainly more examples of this, far too many to list here. More info on each individual snare drum pictured above can be seen by clicking on the photos above or by checking out their demo videos by seeing all the available C&C drums we have on our website.
